This work captures the majesty of the high mountains, integrating iconic elements of Andean flora such as the frailejones in the foreground. A modest stone and tile structure sits on the slope, watching the mist descend over the valley illuminated by the setting sun. The presence of cattle adds a scale of life and movement to the vastness of the landscape. Through digital painting techniques, the clouds and mist acquire an ethereal, almost mystical quality. It is a vibrant representation of survival and beauty at high altitudes, where the color palette shifts from deep greens to the golds of the sky, highlighting the topographical and cultural richness of central Colombia.
