Artist Statement
My creative process is a dialogue between captured reality and interpreted emotion. Although my background is in photography, my ultimate intention is purely pictorial; I use digital tools not to retouch reality, but to reinvent it through color and light.
In my work, light is the common thread that unites diverse styles and themes. I'm interested in how Photoshop's digital manipulation allows me to sculpt the image, generating textures that seem to vibrate on the surface. Whether it's the architecture of a colonial street or the gaze of a loved one, I strive for color to predominate over form, creating a sensory experience that transcends the figurative. For me, art is the act of revealing the luminous energy that resides in every corner of the world.
